Stacy Milbouer

Stacy Milbouer is a freelance writer who has reported on New England for her entire journalism career, including jobs as reporter for The Boston Globe, Nashua Telegraph and the New Hampshire Union Leader, co-editor of Boom Magazine, and currently as regular contributor to New Hampshire Magazine. She is the co-author of the book, “Dying in Vein; Blood, Deception … Justice.” She teaches writing at the Nackey Loeb School of Journalism and has had numerous poems and short stories published in literary magazines.

Tricia Baker Schmitt

Tricia has more than 15 years of publishing experience in New Hampshire, including sales, client-support, marketing and event management through her tenure at McLean Communications Inc. of Manchester. Her passion for the White Mountains led her to taking a very long walk, completing the Appalachian trail with her husband in 2001. As someone who enjoys the state’s seasonal offerings, she is interested in learning more about how to support these efforts year-round.

Dawn Kirlin

Account Manager –

Dawn has been involved in the publishing industry for nearly a decade. With a background in retail ownership/management and a career in sales and marketing she brings a wide range of experience to business owners to help them grow their business. In her spare time, she will undoubtedly be found working on her family’s farm, horseback riding, hiking or skiing with her husband and daughter. Dawn also manages the Francestown Community Market as part of the Francestown Recreation Commission.

Tom Long

Tom Long is a freelance writer who has reported on New England for many years. A former reporter and columnist for the Boston Globe, he continues to contribute to the newspaper as well as New Hampshire Magazine. He is the author of the book “New England Nature Watch: A Month-by-Month Guide to the Natural World Around Us.” He teaches at the Nackey Loeb School of Journalism in Manchester. Tom was also the co-editor of “Boom Magazine.” His short stories have appeared in many publications including “Northern New England Literary Review” and “Amoskeag Literary Journal.”

Sarah Sherman

Editor –

Sarah Sherman has been a writer and editor at Keene Publishing Corporation for seven years, editing Parent Express, ELF, Business Monadnock and The Keene Sentinel’s special sections. She has a degree in psychology and is passionate about community supported agriculture, farm-to-school programs and cooking. She lives in Spofford with her young son where they enjoy hiking with their Labrador Retriever, camping and spending time on Spofford Lake.
